Libraryminds Privacy Policy
Audio and video source files uploaded for transcription are deleted automatically after processing; searchable transcripts and other derived content remain until you delete them. When object-storage-backed uploads are enabled, temporary source objects use server-side encryption. Business meeting recordings can be retained only through the separate workspace or connected-drive storage options described in this policy.
Libraryminds does not use your content to train AI models or submit your content for model training. We use specialist service providers for transcription, requested AI features, cloud infrastructure, authentication, payments, communications, and optional integrations. We share only the information needed to operate the service or provide the feature you request. See the Subprocessor List for current provider names and purposes.

Some pages show explainer videos embedded from YouTube in its privacy-enhanced mode. When such a page loads, your browser connects to YouTube and Google to display the player, and the player may store information on your device. YouTube states that views in this mode are not used to personalise your YouTube experience or the advertising you see. Playing a video, or opening it on YouTube, is covered by Google's Privacy Policy.
Libraryminds uses YouTube API Services to read public information about YouTube videos, channels, and playlists you submit, such as titles and video lengths. The free playlist calculator keeps a playlist's result for up to 24 hours so repeat lookups are faster. By using these features you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's Privacy Policy applies to YouTube's handling of those requests.
We do not sell your data, and we never use your account information or the content you add to Libraryminds for advertising. Our blog and free tool pages may show ads served by Google AdSense; no other page shows ads. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can turn off personalised ads in Google's Ad Settings, and read how Google uses information from sites that use its services. We don't show these ads to visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, and they never appear inside your account.
We also process technical information — your IP address and browser details — to keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and apply rate limits. Server logs that contain it are rotated and kept only for a limited time.
If you connect Google Drive and turn on transcript auto-save, Libraryminds saves a copy of each transcript you complete after that point to a Libraryminds folder in your Drive. Libraryminds can access only the files it creates there. The copy in Drive is yours: deleting the transcript in Libraryminds doesn't delete it from Drive. You can turn auto-save off or disconnect Google Drive at any time in Settings; disconnecting also removes Libraryminds' access at Google. Information from Google Drive is used only to provide this feature, and is never sold or used for advertising.
